Happy? Indeed!

Have you ever met someone who professed to be happy, but never actually was?  I believe that the absolute worst existence is a profession of happiness while living a life that is anything but happy.  If you find yourself in a job, relationship, or situation that simply has you mimicking life, make yourself a promise to break away and live a real life.  You’ll be amazed by the beauty that awaits, but you have to break away from the chains of the mundane and routine.

I am happily leaving people, situations, and scenarios behind in 2012, and I will take important lessons learned into next year.  The greatest lesson I re-learned this year was to never wait for the approval or validation of anyone before pursuing what I want. For example, I remained paralyzed and miserable in the most ridiculously stifling  situation because I just wasn’t sure if I wanted to step outside the door. I am now outside of the door, no longer drained or miserable, but joyously living life, continuing my dreams, and supporting my family.  I am moving forward with healthy choices, faithful friends, and a fabulous family.

2013 is just around the corner, but I say that you shouldn’t wait until a new year to have a healthier, happier, and better life. Here’s to happiness!
